Wind-chill or windchill, (popularly wind chill factor) is the perceived decrease in air temperature felt by the body on exposed skin due to the flow of air.

This wind chill calculator helps you estimate the temperature felt by your body as a result of the actual measured temperature and wind speed. It is useful for you to plan for outdoor activities, especially in extreme weather conditions.

There are two calculators in this app: Wind Chill Calculator and Humidex Calculator.

How to calculate wind chill using this calculator:

1. Choose the temperature unit between degrees Fahrenheit, degrees Celsius. If you worry about the conversion, we have "Temperature Converter" tool that helps you to convert among different temperature units quickly.
2. Enter your current temperature
3. Select the wind speed unit between mph, knots, m/s, km/h. We also have "Wind Speed Unit Converter" so that you can convert among miles per hour (mph), knot, meter per second (m/s), feet per second (ft/s) and kilometer per hour (km/h).
4. Enter your wind speed and click the "Calculate" button to estimate the wind chill temperature.
5. The wind chill temperature will be displayed in different temperature units.
6. It also displays the value of heat losses for exposed skin.

You dont even need a thermometer to know your temperature and wind speed because this calculator has all of them in "Current" screen. It shows your temperature, wind speed, wind direction, humidity of your current location. You can easily customize background color and text color for this hybrid Thermometer and Windometer tool.

Last but not least, use our wind chill calculator regularly if you live in cold countries to prevent disasters of wind chill temperature such as Frostbites and Hypothermia.
